The What?

This event is an annual tradition of up to 20 Grill Teams battling it out in good fun to see who has the BEST Steak right in front of Seville Quarter. This achievement is memorialized with the traveling iconic butcher block & cleaver - People's Choice Award! The event has evolved over the past decade to become the most signature event on the Emerald Coast drawing in guests from all over. What has not changed is the commitment to doing good and the Choice New York Strip Steak provided by Winn-Dixie, our Presenting Sponsor since inception.

On October 11, 2024 we will kick it off with a red carpet VIP reception sponsored by Guy Brothers Roofing starting at 5:15pm in Heritage Hall at Seville Quarter, serenaded by Pensacola's Jazz Society's Trio. The VIP beverage selection will feature seltzer refreshments and premium brews provided by Goldring Gulf Distributors, J. Lohr & Inscription wines provided by Republic National Distributors, and frozen cocktails provided by Margaritas To Go. A loaded mash potato bar with all the toppings and Seville's signature salad bar complete the VIP hall with everything you need to taste and judge the best steaks of Pensacola.

General Admission gates open at 6:00 pm to enjoy the festivities and stroll through the streets of Seville with up to 20 Teams grilling for the title and trophy of the BEST Steak! You have the power to vote for the team that made your mouth water. If they knocked it out of the park dollars count for votes and go to a great cause, too! Kulture Kreated is back again to bring a great DJ show kicking off the party in the courtyard where Seville's mashed potato bar and salad bar will be available. Peruse & bid on exciting items in the silent auction provided by Michelle Salzman's Riveter Royalty benefiting our local non-profit beneficiaries. Experience the LED Light Dancers of Entertainment Ignited lighting up the streets for this exciting evening of community impact. General Admission also includes 2 beverage tickets for either beer on tap provided by Gulf Distributors or white or red wines provided by Republic Distributors. We conclude the evening with presenting awards for the Professional Judge's 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place Steak culminating in the grand finale with the People's Choice Award.

The Why?

Seville Rotary Club is an organization made up of professionals who care about their community trying to make a difference and change lives.

In 2011, the Club decided to cook-up the Steak Cook-Off to raise money for programs in the community. Winn-Dixie has partnered with Seville Rotary year after year because of the dedication and impact it has to our community. Since inception the Seville Rotary Steak Cook-Off has raised over $300,000 and continues to expand the impact.

Over the years, this event has continued to grow with more steaks, more teams, and more impact to our community. We want to thank all of you for your support and dedication to this event. It’s only possible through you!

The iconic traveling trophy not only represents the People's Choice Best Steak Ever. It represents the commitment and dedication of the Cooking Teams. Annually, they come out and grill steak to provide an impact their community while enjoying competing to claim the title.

The beneficiaries include numerous amazing organizations whose programs reach our community and children, changing lives every single day.

Some of our beneficiaries have been: Manna Food Pantries, Autism Pensacola Inc, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida, Boy's & Girl's Club, First Tee of Northwest Florida, Gulf Coast Kid's House, Junior Achievement, ReadyKids FL, and Ronald McDonald House.

We are overjoyed that we can come together to grill steak and make an impact on our community once again! This is only possible due to our wonderful volunteers, outstanding sponsors, silent auction partners, of course the best grill teams, and our amazing community who always show up!
